Seven Milwaukee-area school systems will ask residents Tuesday to agree to raise their taxes to pay for nearly $140 million to build new schools or repair and maintain existing buildings.

Unlike the MCAT WS, spelling and grammar *are* graded on the PCAT essay. So it is especially important for PCAT takers to ensure that their writing is as grammatical as possible. If this is an area of trouble for you, you should get a grammar book, and review your grammar rules, spelling, and punctuation. However, good punctuation, spelling and grammar alone are not sufficient to earn you a good score on the PCAT essay section.

Germantown - The Village Board has endorsed the School Board's proposal for Germantown to secede from the Milwaukee Area Technical College District - but with one difference.
Two fifth grade reading classes in Georgia have put together what I think is a great example of a book study wiki filled with information about the book itself and contextual information including photo slide shows, audio recordings of student performances, interviews and historical reports. The book is Patricia Beatty’s Turn Homeward Hannalee. One thing that I think is especially cool is that the teachers took the time to add their reflections to the site which is a great way for the rest of us to learn and think about how this might work in our own practice:
