Happy Birthday Festival Radio!

The Media Education Festival Radio project is entering its tenth year at the Fringe Festival. The project provides groups of young people with unlimited access to Edinburgh Fringe shows and the opportunity to become reporters for a week. The young people are provided with training in interview techniques, recording equipment and audio editing to produce their own broadcasts. These are aired on radio stations throughout the UK and are available on the World Wide Web. This year the broadcasts will also be played on Radio Lollipop, providing patients at the Edinburgh Royal Hospital for Sick Children with access to the Festival.
